Is there a way on Windows 7 to disable autoplay when you load a disc?

Thanks.

Hi LadyLinda,

Yes there is. smile Go into your Control Panel, click on Hardware & Sound and then Auto Play, where you can make all adjustments.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear.
I know about the Control Panel settings.

Can I disable it when loading only certain discs?

In XP, if you held down the left shift key (if I remember correctly), autoplay did not start.
So something similar to that.

XP uses the auto-run facility, Vista and above Auto-Play. So far as I'm aware there are no key board shortcuts to prevent it from running.
