I'm using Windows Live Mail in Windows 7. How can I get the reminders in the Calendar to send an email to my inbox when the reminder occurs?

If you right-click an event doesn't it have Forward as Email? Don't know if that just sends the email when you create the event or when the event occurs as I've never used the Calender.

That sends an email immediately, it doesn't wait for the event to occur.

That link is for Windows Live Hotmail, but some of the directions will work...

For the Windows Live Mail email client, I've found you have to set the reminders by clicking on File, New and then calendar event. The next screen has an option to set a reminder and when you want the reminder sent to you. The options are from immediately to 5 minutes to 2 weeks.
