Thanks for the help with 6, but tallyho does not actually have that meaning: it's more like "look here" or perhaps "here we go!"

I think it was originally used in fox hunting when the fox was seen and everyone then gave chase, also in WWII tales of fighter pilots spotting the enemy.

Lex, my original thought was Cheerio, but that didn't work, starting
with "C". Toodle-oo just did not fit. I also think of Tallyho with
foxhunts. Also, it begs the question, what ever happened to Tallyho,
a former GB member? eek

My mistake if tallyho doesn't mean what I thought it did. I didn't look it up but I do remember seeing movies where an Englishman would say something like "Tally-Ho old chap" as they were leaving.
