More Tom Swifties. (For example "I'll have a martini," said Tom, drily.) As ever, grovelling apologies for any re-runs.

Some of these are very clever and quite tough, so being all heart, I've given you first letter and length as a starter grin·

-1. "I can't eat any more of this bitter herb," said Tom r-------.
-2. "I'll get you out of prison in no time," said Tom b--------.
-3. "What's a wide-angle lens?" asked Tom o-------.
-4. "I'm about to hit the golf ball," Tom f---------.
-5. "I had an accident in the kitchen," said Tom with p------.
-6. "Yes, I have been reading Voltaire," Tom admitted c-------.
-7. "To boldly go where no man has gone before" said Tom, e-------------.
-8. "You're right, the earth is not a sphere," he said o-------.
-9. "I didn't see that French 'No Smoking' sign," fumed Tom d----------. Look up "No Smoking" in French
-10. "A Greek woodland deity is no more," Tom said, d------.
-11. "There is no end to this sequence of digits," said Tom i-----------. Think what pi is referred to as
-12. "I like listening to records at night," said Tom d-------------. Starts with another word for "record"

To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self.
I wonder what's on television...?

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
