(A la Cue) Place words in the blank areas to complete the word chains. The word used will relate to the previous word and the following word. No proper names please. Example: work - lift - load – wall (work SHOP lift OFF load STONE wall) -1. gold – field – poker - lift -2. rubber – blind – line - shaft -3. trash – wash – over - charge (Hint: opening in the face, game played with ball and pins, seize)-4. camp – cover – case - clerk -5. finger – brush – place - back -6. game – boat – brand - moon -7. plate – sheet – bolt - card -8. court – yard – nest - shell -9. gem – wall – tiger - skin -10. fancy – throw – sham - garden

soot, that's the word!  Bob, I have "rock" for the 3rd word. I've never heard of "sham victory", but an internet search revealed it is a phrase that is/has been used, so for #10. Hi curly. #5 - I have "paint" for the 1st word, but "nail" also works, so #7 - "hole" is right for the last word. I have "lightning" for the middle word, but "rock" also works. I've never heard of "glass sheet", but an internet search revealed it is a phrase used for a sheet of glass. So
Wouldn't that jar your mustard!
