NEVERWINTER NIGHTS

Neverwinter Nights needs a Pentium II
300 MH or ADM K6-2 350 MHz
Window 98/Me/2000SP2XP
96 MB or RAM
Direct X 8.1
16 MB TNT2-class,Open GL 1.2 compliant
video card
Direct X certified sound card

The game looks very much like a Bauldar Gate
type of game at first but you can play
by yourself or hire a henchman to help you in
your quests and fighting so it is different in
that way.

In the beginning you are in the Acadamy and
have to train in using your weapons.
Go around and talk to people and try to find
out what you have to do next.

When you leave the Acadamy you do receive a
stone of recall which teleports you to the
nearest temple to heal or buy stuff you may
need.

The game is pretty much like any other RPG
game that I have played as far as getting
quests, casting spells and just exploring the
area you are in.

The graphics were beautiful and the music
was also good.

You are able to change the camera angles by
going to the options in the game and changing
how you want the camera angles to be.

You can also keep your own notes in the journal
and you can place notes on the map to help you
remember what was there.

The fighting in the game was pretty easy because
all you do is left click on the enemy to fight.

Stuff in the stores didn't cost an arm and leg
to buy but then you didn't get much for it either.

As always you can find way better stuff
to use than you can buy.

My lady was a Paladine,Fighter,Cleric which
gave me spells and good fighting skills.

This game had enough storyline to keep me
wondering what would happen next.

I had no problems with the game running in
Windows 98 and I did enjoy playing it and will
play it again smile

Thanks for the review, VHL! Good job. thumbsup I'm still on chapter two, and far from finished. It really is a game worth playing.

Thanks for writing this. smile
