At the point in the game where i have to get templa disk E. Jumped broken staircase picked up the key and jumped back across the gap and am hanging on the bottom step How do i pull up W key+jump doesn't work What keys should be pressed?

Are you trying to cross that broken staircase right now and had fallen off?

Maybe try just space bar alone or spacebar-forward arrow or spacebar-shift-forward combination.

There is a tricky hotspot for that ladder. Move the cursor over the ladder itself and see if that works - also see if there is an up arrow at top of that ladder.
