COGNITION- Can't get the tape recorder from the morgue

I looked at MaG's walkthrough for this game and it says that Terence is supposed to help me get the recorder from the Coroner, but no matter what I do, I can't seem to get him to do it.
Anyone played this yet?

Do you have the micro cassette already?
Have you asked the girl at evidence to see if she has a tape recorded to play it?
Have you right click or looked at the tape recorder on the cart beside the coroner and see that it is the old fashioned kind?

Yes, I have the cassette I got from Gwen. But everytime I try to get the recorder from the morgue, she says no and I can't get the option from Terrance to ask for help in getting in.
I have gone into Davies' office and into her computer and read her emails, but it won't let me send an email to Gallager to ask for more storage space for Terrance.
I keep going in circles and I can't really progress now without the recorder to finish the interrogation.

I finally figured it out. I had to enter the Morgue's # in my cell and then call her to distract her......finally! Thnx :)

Great that you figured it out.

I'm having the same problem as UruKat.

I have done what MaG suggest to do and what UruKat did in her response to MaG.

The morgue phone number is in the cell but I can't call because she says that she has no needs to phone there.

I guess I miss something. But what?

Let me think:
- you see the tape recorder on the cart beside Gallagher. Use the look and take action on it.
- Get the tape from the evidence woman at the office and asked her about a machine to use it on.
- Talk to Terence completely and have done anything he asked of you already.

See if redoing any of the above might work.

The thing is, it won't let you call her until you have completely talked to everyone. Make sure you keep talking to Gallager and to Terence and also to John. Eventually I was able to call, but I felt like I was going around in circles.

Replayed from the Post Office and did what is said here in this topic and the WT.

I did get this time the "Help talk with Gallagher" conversation but it went nowhere probably because I can't sent that e-mail from Davie's office. So, no tape recorder.

Yes, I did MaG and many times.

This is a mystery for me right now.

But like in every game, I certainly missed something.

Well, I did miss something. I had the morgue number but not Gallagher's number.

I was seeing that telephone number that comes up when you click on Gallagher's desk at the morgue but I never clicked on the number to send it to to Inventory and the cell to get her number.

When that was done, it was easy to get the tape recorder.
