N.D. Legend of the crystal skull

I have 2 problems in 1...the 1st problem is im stuck in dr bolets secret room..i did all the puzzles but i went up there looking for another skull note which brings me to problem #2..i cant type over Tammy Tassleman's name in the skull note..so thats why i went back into bolets secret room to look for another note..

now i just want to get out of the room.both doors just rattle when i approach them

Note at Secret room: Have you done the Pirate dummy in the secret room. This can only be done after getting the clue in the book taken after doing the Chest puzzle in Renee's room.

Tassleman: - Of course you have to have done the pirate dummy puzzle first.
Then: Are you using your own computer's keyboard?
Have you checked page 91 of the book that list the people buried in the cemetery?

yes im using my own computer keyboard..and i found out i had to click lamp to get out of secret room..

yes but how do i over write tasslemans name to put in constance norring? it wont let me type over the previous name

It should be blank now if you have solved the Tassleman puzzle; gotten the clue and clicked on the headstone of Tassleman.
Then you can go back to the great room and enter Constance's name.

I can't get past the bees! Can I get a save?

There are 3 wasp puzzles. I sent you the saved game for the first one.
There are puzzles in between the 3 wasp incidents.

I clicked on the tooth books in the correct order but nothing happens. What am I missing?

Have you read the 'The History of Quincy T. Booker's Teeth' story in the 'Short Stories for Tired Eyes' book in inventory?
Best to read the whole book. Several triggers are in that book.
Also check the dental chart.

I checked the walkthrough and found I was doing it backwards. Now I am at the point where Nancy is supposed to talk to Renee and get the mushrooms but when I go to talk to her there is no dialogue available.

My computer can't open the save file
".hicrysave". Any suggestions?

The game opens the file not you.
Did you place the save file in the correct folder - Crystal Skull in My Documents folder?
If so - look for it in the load page then.

Got the download saved to my game and it solved the problem with the mushroom puzzle as well as the wasps. Thanks!

I turned all the eyeballs and got the drawing and the jeweled eyeball. The walkthrough says I'm supposed to talk to Renee but when I go to her there's no dialogue.

Check your to do list and see what else needs to be done.
Also examine the drawing and the eyeball in inventory if you could.

There's nothing left to do on the to do list. I took the drawing out and looked at it. I couldn't examine the eyeball. Still nothing from Renee.

Double check that letter about the crystal skull.
That is the topic you want to discuss with Renée.

Pulled the letter out of inventory and read it again but still no dialogue with Renee.

I wonder if you can use that letter on Renée.

Clicked on letter in inventory but can't click on Renee with it. I didn't get to talk to the authenticator either and there is nothing in my task list I haven't already done. It's like my game is over early.

I sent you a saved game after the eyes are done.

I just realized what I did. I used the save on the 3rd wasp puzzle without using the second one so I didn't get the letter, it just showed up in inventory. I will go back and replay the second and then the third save and that should fix the problem. Thanks for the suggestions.

Do you have a save where you do Iggy as the optometrist before the mailman? When I do the mailman first and then use your third save, I can't talk to Renee or the authenticator because I didn't get the letter myself.

If you used my saves wasp 3 or the eyeball puzzle done - you can talk to Renee no matter what. They should follow the walkthrough.
Those 2 saves have the letter taken action done.

Anyhow - so that you can play those parts you haven't done - I sent you 2 saved games - mailman and authenticator.
