The Egyptian Prophecy - Memphis

I bought this game from Big Fish after my disks finally died. I'm trying to make the grappling hook to get the gouge for the weaver. It doesn't matter if I pick up the rope or hook first, but the rope disappears. How can I fix this?

The grappling hook is made automatically when the rope and the hook are present in inventory.
Check your inventory for the label.

It doesn't automatically connect. The rope is just gone. If I pick the rope first it's in inventory until I pick up the rope and then the rope disappears.

Okay you were right/ With it just showing the hook I had no idea it was a grappling hook. Sorry bout that. But now that I have it I'm having a hard time throwing it into the pond. Do I throw it to the lily pads closest to the weaver or further in the middle?

While standing close to the constantly shooing basket weaver, pan left move cursor to closest lily pad. Use the grappling hook on lily pad.

I figured it out. Thanks so much. It works beautifully now.
