Hi all,
I just downloaded testament of sherlock holmes & could someone tell me how to change to the mouse control instead of wasd keys also how to get rid of the hint thingy on the screen.

Hi Gloria,

The tutorial at the beginning is compulsory, I'm afraid. You need to follow the instructions exactly as they appear. Once you've done so, the tutorial moves on to the next stage, otherwise it stays stuck at the same point. Once you've completed the tutorial then you'll be able to switch to whichever viewpoint you like by pressing R on your keyboard.

The tutorial starts automatically as a small pop-up box on the right side of your game screen. If it's disappeared then it might be waiting for you to follow its last instruction? What have you done so far?

A box appears on the right side with a picture of the wasd keys but there is no mouse pointer to click on it .Is that the one you are talking about?It appears when holmes & watson finish the intro talking.

Try your WASD keys on the keyboard. See if that works. My memory is vague on the tutorial.

Use the W, A, S and D keys in turn for about five seconds each, just moving randomly around the room.

The tutorial really wants you to know what you're doing, but at the expense of some sanity.

You need to complete the tutorial part of the game first. Once the tutorial is finished you can select the control mode you want by pressing the "R" key. Please let me know if it worked!

To explain further, use W as Rushes stated for 5 secs, then A key for 5 sec, S key for 5 secs and D key for 5 secs.
