hi. how do i get the Cineworld receptionist to talk about Ellen O'conner before she lets me take the Cineworld magazine? robert.

Per the walkthrough:

19th floor - Go forward to end of hallway and talk to the receptionist of CineWorld. Talk to her about Ellen O'Connor. She mentions the magazine with latest hair fashion. Pan around and take the CineWorld magazine from the counter.
Turn around and then talk to Greta Garbo's bodyguard. Learn that he's interested in the ground floor receptionist and wants to know her first name.

thanks for the reply B.E.T. but i can't even get the receptionist to talk about Ellen thereby not initiating the magazine scene. robert.

Hi robert,
Make sure that you click on the nameplate on Ellen's desk, then speak to her again. The game has now registered that you know it's Ellen sitting there.
That should hopefully then trigger the dialogue with the receptionist.
