i had to call gallagher in the morgue to get her away from the tape recorder..so now i have it and the tape ND I PUT THE TAPE INSIDE THE RECORDER BUT WHEN AND HOW DO I LISTEN TO IT?..sorry for the caps..mistake

stephen,

Try this - In inventory, after you combined the two - then select the hand icon to take it and maybe use it.
If not - try the eye icon and see if you can get another action after a close up of the combined tape-recorder. luck

now im having trouble with the recognition and robert mentioning john doe..he remembers the color of dress,time but not date..and the song..what am i missing..??

You have to walk Robert slowly on each regression.

For you the gamer to know the Date and time: Use the microcassette in tape recorder on Robert and he remembers the time 9:30 PM.
Use the cellphone and then select calendar. See that the Wednesday before October 12 is the 8th.
Do regression again. Click on memory 2: Change the date to October 08, 2008 and the time to 9:30 PM.
Talk to Robert again. He still can't remember their anniversary date.

--- Then work on Station name and Thai restaurant.
Go from there. You can check the walkthrough to see the step by step.

thats what i did..i changed the station name to copley and changed the date too.. and clciked recognition but still he doesnt mention john doe..

Be sure that you are showing hidden files. How to do that is explained here:

How to Show Hidden Files in Windows 7

Try that, and then see if you can find the saved games. wave

Hello, first excuse me for my english, I'm french.
I've got a big problem in Cognition, part 1, with the small objet "le pendu" (the hangman), in which I can't put the litlle key, beacause I can't open it. There is a bug. I can't open "le pendu". I I can't open anymore the 4 litlle paper in which there was the safe code !
But now I can't anymore go through the game without opening the pendu. Can you send me some saved games please. Help me !!!!
