Hi anyone...does anyone have a save to get me past the Five in a Row puzzle..thanks, chuck
The game autosaves Chuck so it saves upon quitting and overwrites your previous save. I do not think anyone has any.
There is one
here but since it does not say for where in the game it is, I would not recommend it.

Chuck,
Let's wait for someone who played the game help you.
Double check if the video is the correct one though.

I'm sorry, Chuck.
Depending upon how you move your pieces, it's a random puzzle and one that you have to plod through perhaps multiple times to win. The solve detailed in the Amanita forum worked for a few, as mentioned in the thread. I'm sorry that it's not working for you.

Hi Rushes...can't understand why it does not let me do all 9 and then, if wrong, go back to another start...for your info.Gamesover WT for this game
gives..youtube.com/watch?v=2m6NhwjFuXU....lot of
so-called solutions..will keep trying..thanks, chuck..

Hi Rushes...on your thread from Amanita..have tried
several times..you do know..each time to start the bolt is placed differently. Can you ask Amanita where bolt was to start when her thread worked...thanks, Chuck...

Chuck, doesn't the first screenshot in that thread help? There are only two pieces on the board.

Re: Machinarium - 09/23/13 11:40 PM
Hi Rushes...when starting, a bolt is placed, then
go from there..a point is reached where apparently
you can't win and it starts all over again..but..
next time, the bolt is placed differently..you do
that one,etc...the bolt at start apparently has to
be in a certain square before you can continue with
all 9..before her thread will work..thanks, chuck.......thinking about this..know where the
bolt has to be...will just have to restart games until that bolt and square appears..so then, can
make her thread work...thanks..Chuck..

Hi MaG, Rushes...finally solved the puzzle. The thread you sent was good but you have to keep starting over and over until the thread bolt to start with, is in 4 down and 5 across..then thread nine moves will work..thanks for help, Chuck..
