Cognition getting Erika to code panel

I am at the end and have been trying to get the postcognition on the code panel and I keep going around in circles. I have her on her side and have moved her as close to the panel as possible. I do the postcognition and she says she can't touch the panel. I move her back to the right to avoid the trap and nothing happens. The walkthrough says Erika will scream at Cornelia but she doesn't. What am I missing?

When you move her to the left close to the control panel the first time - she will start screaming "what are you doing".

Looks like you don't have her close to the control panel yet.
This was nerve wracking for me.

Do you have on the side with her hands at the back closest to the panel?

She has to face Right.

Then move her all the way in - look out and time it right - then use cognition on panel.
She can't do it the first time and screams - but she will next time.

I have her as close as I can she won't move any closer but she doesn't scream. If I try to wait for her to scream she dies. Maybe I have to wait until the last minute?

Nothing to do with waiting.

Yes she's on her side. I have read MaG's walkthrough and have followed it step by step but Erika only says I'm not close enough and if I don't move her back she dies.

Yeah I followed it too, but still managed to turn her the wrong way lol

Thank you Misslilo. I deserve the dumbest player award. I wasn't paying attention to your post and I also was turning her the wrong way. When I finally really understood what you were trying to get through to me thick skull, I turned here correctly and have finished the game.

I'm not sure how long it took me to get through this, I kept turning her the wrong way and getting her killed, but I managed it after a lot of frustration and leaving the game and coming back to it:)
