Nibiru age of secrets - 10/12/13 04:28 PM

Tube Post. can anybody troubleshoot why when i enter Barbora's ID followed quickly when the green light is on by the paper with numbers on it Martin says 'something is wrong' and doesn't give me the German 1943 documentation? robert.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/12/13 04:38 PM

Hi robert,

Did you right-click on the paper with the numbers in your inventory, so that Martin reads it and understands what it is?

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/12/13 06:16 PM

yes i did Rushes so that is not the answer. robert.

Robert, this is from UHS hints - have you tried this?

Quote:
While the light to the left of the machine is green, use the code on the machine. Note: The correct way to enter the code is by using the piece of paper (with the code written on it) on the machine. Martin will automatically enter the numbers into the machine himself. If the green light to the left of the machine goes out, it will be necessary to use the ID card again to reactivate it.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/13/13 01:45 AM

Try again to see if you can be fast and get it going.
Enter the ID card.
See green light.
Click the paper with the archive number on tube post.

I'm curious -- does this game
have 360 degree panning? sick

Becky's review does not mention it and I can't remember the gameplay.

Robert can tell us then.

hi Mag, do you have an image of the German document in inventory? i would like to see what it looks like, if i'm successful. robert.

Aser: No, there's no panning. smile

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/17/13 02:52 PM

hi Rushes, i have re-started Nibiru and still get 'there's something wrong'. is there a specific event or response that triggers the German documentation? robert.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/17/13 03:10 PM

Hi robert,

The one thing you need to be sure of doing, as I mentioned in a previous post above, is right-clicking on the note to examine it, so that Martin knows what it is. (This is the note that you used the pencil on to reveal the code.)

Then it's all about speed after you use Barbora's ID card on the machine to get the green light. You really don't get much time here to click the pencil note on the machine while the light is still on.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/18/13 12:39 PM

Just to enhance what Rushes said - it's important to left-click AND right-click on just about everything in Nibiru.

I originally played this game in the German version, but wrote a walkthrough in English. It was posted on another site and is gone now, but chances are it was pirated; er picked up; by some other site. I'll see if I can find it for you.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/22/13 07:03 PM

hi Tally-Ho, Mine-second left corridor. i can't find the small opening on the metal wall eventually leading to a heap of earth. is this a pixel-hunt? robert.
Posted By: Rushes

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/22/13 09:40 PM

MaG's walkthrough says that the heap of earth is below the opening, so I'd suggest moving your cursor very slowly around the area above the earth. luck

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/23/13 01:27 AM

hi Rushes, i found the small opening with thanks. now, MINE, right corridor i can't find the can with oil. could you help please? robert.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/23/13 01:35 PM

Hi robert,

Be sure that you've clicked twice on the water initially, so that Martin comments both times. Only then use the flashlight on the water, and Martin should automatically locate where the oil can is and make a comment about it.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/26/13 04:14 PM

hello Rushes, after taking the small key from the drain, how do i get back to the secret room? robert.
Posted By: Rushes

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/26/13 05:30 PM

Go back down in the elevator and leave that length of corridor. Take the corridor to the right to the Archives, and in the main archive room you'll find the door into the secret room.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/28/13 02:56 PM

hi Rushes, how do i get a plain hotdog for old Iris? i keep getting a hotdog with mustard. robert.
Posted By: Rushes

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 10/28/13 03:07 PM

Hi robert,

Did you give the mustard hotdog to her? She'll say straightaway how disgusting she thinks mustard is, and that she wants ketchup on it instead. So then when you go to the hotdog stand, Martin will have new dialogue and end up buying a plain hotdog.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 11/01/13 07:15 PM

hi Rushes. COLORED BALLS PUZZLE. solution by drdel. first line - i do not understand where to make 1st move! right click which ball to OR 6 position? could you please make this clearer? robert.
Posted By: Rushes

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 11/01/13 09:25 PM

Hi robert,

In drdel's step-by-step, "OR" stands for outer ring. So click on the outer ring segment until its opening is at the six o'clock position.

His labelling for the other rings is:

Centre outward: 1R, 2R, 3R, 4R and OR (for outer ring)
Posted By: robert gray

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 11/02/13 12:09 AM

hi Rushes, when i click on the OR, the opening is at the 9 o'clock position. i am confused. robert.
Posted By: Rushes

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 11/02/13 03:03 PM

The ring should turn each time that you click it. You can either left or right click to turn it in either direction, I think. Keep clicking until it's where you want it to be.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 11/02/13 04:21 PM

hi Rushes, do you have a saved game for WIN7 colored balls puzzle after the prism is in inventory, please? i hope this thing works as it is a devilish puzzle and all other WIN7 saves did not work for me. let's hope this time - fingers crossed. robert.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 11/02/13 05:23 PM

This puzzle is a real stinker - I don't have a saved game for it, but I hope that someone else has one that will work with Windows 7. wave

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 11/02/13 05:50 PM

I have a save -- crossing fingers it will be compatible with Win 7. Sending to you now, robert. luck

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 11/09/13 05:58 PM

hi Marian, i finished Nibiru. not bad! i enjoyed it but the ending was a bit lame. i am going to re-play Dreamfall after a few years. could you please bring up again the questions/answers to the Gameboomers's screen as i am sure to ask the same old question again? robert.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 11/09/13 06:07 PM

Congratulations on finishing Nibiru and I hope you enjoy playing Dreamfall again. wave

We can certainly look through old posts to find your previous questions about Dreamfall, should it be needed. luck

good morning Marian, i have not played Dreamfall in years so i forget. using the PC, how do i move the characters around and what's with this focus field? robert.

Re: Nibiru age of secrets - 11/10/13 03:41 PM

Hi Robert, I am going to go ahead and start a new Dreamfall subject for you here in the Hints section so that all of your Dreamfall questions will be in a new topic rather than in this discussion topic about Nibiru. wave
