I wasn't sure if this was a new topic. If it isn't, please tell me and I will just add on to a previous question with this game.
Here is my question: I am not sure how to get the numbers 6 and 7 nor am I able to follow the Walkthrough because I am completely lost as how to turn the numbers in the right direction. Thanks for all your help. I turned the number 1 in the only direction I could but am confused.

I just kept trying and finally got it. I prefer to do it myself but your walkthroughs are extremely helpful. Thank you.

Glad you got it.
The usual problem here is not pushing to the extreme right to place the correct plate at the circle on the turning space.

I have only 5 turn plates how do I get 7. Can't figure it out. Thanks

The 7 plate instructions is for the master mode.

If you already finished turning the 5 plates for amateur to their side - pull them out to the right and the puzzle is finished.

Sorry it did not work; what happened when you tried to load the saved game?

Also, someone else should be able to send you a saved game if the one I sent you does not work.

What happens when you load the saved game sent to you and then you pull back?
It should show the plaque drop off.

marian, when i loaded the game it just went to the puzzle like you have to turn them and mag it just goes to the puzzle and when i pull back nothing it the plaque did not drop off

Even the last saved game I sent?
Did you scroll at start of the load screen to find the sent installed saved game file?
They are arranged by dates - so it should be the very first one in that list. Scroll now and check.

Hi gang! I am also very confused about this puzzle. I can't even figure out how it works so I'd like to try to understand that before I ask for a save. Should I post my questions in a new thread or is here okay?

Celtic Lark,

The aim of the puzzle is to move all these plates to the right side and out.
To do so they have to be on their side so that they can slide out.

- note the right plate on the picture is on a circular indentation.
- that is the only place that you can turn the plate to its side and be able to move them.

So the aim is to turn them ALL first to their side.
To do so you have to move them back and forth (right and left) to that circular indentation at a specific order.

Thanks, MaG! So I had figured that much out but thought I was missing something. I can only seem to turn them up to the fourth plate. In the walkthrough, it says the second move is to turn one of the far left plates (being cryptic to avoid spoilers) but I can't get the last four plates onto the circular spot. Maybe I'm reading the walkthrough incorrectly?

update:i have passed the rest of the game please can i have the save for the end and also what should i save it as because the file said something about not a valid win 32 program when i tried to open the sliding puzzle is there a way around it? i am sorry for the long post i would like to finally finish my game:)

Hi NdFan,

The save's on the way.

Don't try to open the file -- that's the reason you're getting the message about an invalid program. Just save the file directly into your Silent Spy folder in Documents, along with all your other saves for the game. Then start up the game as usual and load the new save from your in-game load screen.

Here is some good advice about making the cookies that I found on the Her Interactive forum:

Quote:

First, look at the middle section to see what is there and put that on the bottom cookie. The hardest part about this is seeing if there is a jam or if it is just a plain cookie with sprinkles and/or frosting.

Second, put a top layer on the cookie (from the upper left corner).

Third, compare the cut-outs with the rest of the top of the cookie. If the toppings are only on the cookie and not over the cut-out, put on those toppings and then use the cut-out. If the toppings are over both the top cookie and the cut-out, then use the cut-out first and then put on the topping.

The key is making sure the toppings are layered correctly.
