Stuck in Deponia

Can anyone help? I'm stuck at a glitch in Deponia (the First one) Toward the middle where Rufus uses the wet sponge to wipe off
the windshield of the old truck and he is supposed to say "sugarpuff, pink and ballet dancer"when I click on the widshield. I left click on it and he does not say
anything, so I cant get Hanek to give the key to Rufus.I have googled this and found others have had same problem, but so far have found no
answers. I have contacted Daedalus, but no response.
If anyone has a saved game after this part, would really appreciate it!

Wade through the forum posts on the Deponia Series at GOG.
Someone else there may have had your problem and gotten a solution from another gamer.

If I remember correctly - he doesn't say those words. You have to see them or maybe ?click on them.
Then you can go and talk to HAnek completely to get him to talk about the truck.
Then you can answer those questions.
I will also move you to Hints forum.

I checked GOG and Greenman, nothing on those. Have left "help" mssgs. on both.
I've tried everything but stand on my head to get Rufus to do/say/see something, but
so far nothing.

Well, guess what! I went back once again and talked to Hannek and this time he asks
the questions and gives Rufus the key! Go figure I feel like such a dummy.
No wonder no one answered the posts-they probably made the same mistake
