Hi MaG or....the lisping prisoner's door...used lamp shade and then after
used door slit cover..to talk with Guard about lampshade and guy in cell..
..but instead, keeps asking me about learning to fight..and not about lamp shade,etc..can you help..thanks, chuck...

I think you got the wrong prisoner. Check all the cells to see which prisoner is the lisping one.

Hi MaG...sorry, but this must be right cell..clicking on gives pop up saying..open door slot...both lampshade and slit cover work on this cell. After done, go down and to guard will not talk about lamp shade and guy in cell..same comments as earlier about fighting...any suggestion..thanks, Chuck..

Review of prisoners:
- right of stairs is the martial art teacher - Chinese - that will teach Jack.
- right of this prisoner is the one that wants a password and talks about Ming vase.
- hallway right of password prisoner will be the lisping prisoner that gives the password.

Now go downstairs to next level. Look around.
Take the petroleum lamp at right end of hallway.
Look at that lamp in inventory to get the lampshade, wick and petroleum.
You can then make a lighter for this.
At bottom of this hallway is the guard.

You have to learn how to fight - try to get to the martial arts teacher then.
He will want a book.
The guard has that book.

Is this where you are now?

Hi MaG....went back and did all again..followed your WT exactly and to the point
of going down to Guard to talk(about shade,etc)but again and I say again..he asks
if a fighter yet..can get no more from Guard. Could there be something wrong with

Hi Chuck,

It looks like you're missing some steps. Check if you're missing a page in your wt.

Become a fighter then. Go back up to the prisoner cells after you get the lampshade.
- Go to the window at end of the hallway and be at the ledge.
Talk to the prisoners on the 2 windows.
- Then go finish the bomb.
- Talk face to face with the martial arts teacher. He will give you a task.

Hi MaG...hard to believe this..did all from first again..used both my WT's..word
for word..and to point of using broken door slit cover on slot and down to talk
with guard..same comments..have you learned to fight yet..nothing about lamp shade and cell. Have done all this many times..must give up unless you have a Save somewhere after this incident...thanks, Chuck...

As I mentioned above - my saves are not labeled - I sent you several. Hope one of them works for you.

Just to verify:
- the guard does not mention lampshade the first time - it will be later.
- you get the lamp at end of the hallway - from wall on the same floor as the guard.
- You look at the lamp in inventory to get lampshade.
- you talk to the martial arts teacher and he asks for book. This is the trigger for the lampshade and guard.
- you also should read the board that has rules of conduct.
- you place the lampshade in the slot of the lisping prisoner.
- Talk with lisping prisoner and use the door slit cover.

Hi MaG....am in Savannah..picked up fig..cannot combine knife with this fig to
get fig seeds...have backed up,etc..any suggestions..thanks, Chuck..

Do you have the recipe and read it?
Check inventory to see if there is already some seeds there as well as whole figs.
Keep us posted.

Hi MaG or...am on ship near cannon..have loaded powder, made tamper, used ball, wick, and torch.
Problem is..how do I aim cannon. Can use side deal to dump ball,etc. but need to aim cannon...
clicking on hill bananas does nothing..any suggestions..thanks, chuck..

Hi Chuck, have you primed the cannon correctly?
- Use the gunpowder on cannon.
- Use the pineapple ramrod on cannon with gunpowder.
- Use cannon ball on cannon.
- Use Chinese fuse on cannon.
- Use lit torch on cannon.

Let us know if you followed these steps and then we can advise further.

Hi...did all that several times..fired cannon, etc..what need to know is how to make cannon aim at
something..did the side deal and cannon ball roll out,etc...but tell me how to make cannon aim, move,etc...thanks, Chuck..

If you have seen all the targets and clicked on them earlier (before priming the cannon) - then you can click on them (like the bananas) and fire on them.
You will see a close up of the cannon with the handle.
Jack will tell you to choose a target.
You then click on it and the cannon will fire on that target.

Hi MaG....come to bucket at well in Village, used the Fire med.on bucket but cannot get Skullcracker
to drink from bucket. Backed up twice, check your WT to well point, word for word, and cannot get
Skull to drink..any suggestions..thanks, Chuck..

If I remember correctly, the saved game folder for Jack Keane is in My Documents folder.

Hi MaG..thanks, you don't understand my question. I have the
Save folder..it contains some 40 or 50 saves(savegames)..I only
had about 20. Do you have any idea where to place your saves..do I change one or what...thanks, Chuck..

The saved game I sent you is a saved game file - not an autosave one.
So place it together with the rest and remember the date of that file (or label).
Then load the saved games and look for the one that label in that page (01-07-2013_16.39.52).
Maybe it is at start of the list.
