wire tapping Ewen's computer

Hi, I am stuck with this. I am in the Cathedral HQ, trying to wiretap Ewen's computer. Every time I touch the thermostat, I get kicked out of the game. Not just a fatal error, the game closes completely. It opens back up at that spot so I don't have to go back and re-perform tasks, but, does any one know what I haven't done or am doing wrong. I've gone to the server and looked at it, no hot spots, then go to the thermostat and get kicked out.

That sounds more like a computer glitch than anything you're doing wrong. If the boot is happening consistently at this spot, I'd recommend posting either at our Glitches forum for advice, or using a save game in order to move forward. If this is the only point where the game crashes, a save just might do the trick. Let us know if you would prefer a save file. :)

Okay. I'm at the other thermostat puzzle now. Where I'm supposed to trap Ewan. The same thing happens. I get kicked out of the game when I adjust the temps. I can't find any patches, can anyone help me . . . again?

You can try to play with the video options at main menu. Lowering them might help stop the crashing.

Forgive my ignorance, fellow Boomers, but what is the name of the game that the character "EWWN" is in?
