Zork Nemesis Controls

I cannot find the controls - save, load, quit or options anywhere for this game.

I've tried virtually every key and mouse combination and everywhere on the screen.

Can anyone help me with this?

Darrall,

This is from the original manual and is for win 95; maybe it will work with newer OS.

Quote:

If you place the cursor at top of screen, a bar will appear allowing you to save or restore a game, set preference or quit the game.
Save - To save a game, click on "save". Use your cursor to select a slot, type in a game name and press "enter" You can use a previous lot, the program will ask you to confirm the overwriting of the old file.

From the Zork Nemesis manual, it states the following:

Quote:

I don't even see the bar...just black.

I have Windows 7 with 64 bit. That may be my problem...compatibility issue so I'll check that out and also the manual.

Do you have a disc version or the GOG version?
The GOG version will work in Windows 7 and is currently only $2.99.

I think it is ctrlq=quit ctrls=save etc.....if memory is good for me today...

Hi Darrall,
I'm presently playing the GOG version of this game. Controls:
? = On Screen Hints
Ctrl + S = Save
Ctrl + R = Restore
Ctrl + Q = Quit
Ctrl = P = Preferences
Spacebar = Skip Movies
