Hi MaG or.....in the restaurant..cannot get symbol for winter melon from menu in middle
table..any comment..thanks...Chuck..

Right click - read that menu twice and see what happens.
Be sure that it is the middle center table - not the middle close to entryway one. Have fun.

Hi MaG...sorry but have done all many times..nothing appears in inventory...only thing, when I
click Menu I hear a sound and then comments..that looks good tonite. Any reason I am not getting
the symbol for winter melon?...thanks, chuck...

Have you talked to the woman upstairs ? She must mention the soup. Did you get the soup (not winter melon) and ladle from the kitchen first ?

If Viv says just "some soup" - go down to the kitchen:
-get ladle.
- use ladle on the steaming pot left of it.
- automatically get a bowl of soup.
- bring it and give to Viv.
- she will ask for winter melon.
Then now you can check the menu at middle table and get a symbol.
Use that symbol on the herb cabinet in the kitchen.
Mix the winter melon with the bowl of soup.

Each replay I had of that scene changes depending on what I did before with other characters.

I had both ways. I replayed this game 4 times already and still do not have all the twists. Best to edit wt then. Thanks. Enjoy.

Hi MaG....birdman's wardroom, give book,etc..do all, rope, check window and exit..cannot get
a trash bag from hallway. Incidentally, checking WT and checking window, I clicked on birdman
and got a lot of talk from him..then went to hallway. I thought all this last talk would be
trigger for getting bag but didn't...any comments..thanks, Chuck...

Are you inside the Birdman's cell?
Did you check the Birdman's bed already?
Have you used the jack on the window bars?
That should trigger the trash bag.

I finished this game, Mag. Used both choices at the end (First one, and then the other). THIS was a GREAT Adventure game. We need more like this one these days. Thanks for all of your help.
