Hello,

I am with Erica and Cordelia in fromt of the fireplace at the Lake house. I have the Max figurine and the magnifying glass from the medicine cabinet. I can't figure out how to use the mag. glass to see the fine print on the Max figurine. Erica has it in her hand and says she can't read the find print and I know I am suppose to use the mag. glass on the Max figure to read it but when I try to combine/use says that doesn't work. Please guide me as to how to see the fine print.

Let's see if I remember correctly.
- Click the mag lens in inventory - so that it is selected.
- then click the +/combine icon.
- Then select the vase in inventory.

See if that works. Keep us posted.

ok, maybe that is my problem, I don't have a vase. I thought it was the Max figurine. Where do you get the vase?

Sorry - I was trying to remember things - it is the figurine. The neurons slip.
Do the above combining procedure with the figurine. Tell us what happens.

NO go. When I try to combine (plus sign) the mag. glass and figurine it Erica says, Those two don't work together. Can't figure out what I am doing wrong : (

Is the mag lens icon seen at top left of inventory?
If so - then click the + sign and then the figurine.

Yes, that is what I have been doing. I click on the mag. glass, it appears in the upper left square in the inventory box. Then I click the plus sign and then the figurine. Erica says they don't work together. Maybe it is a bug in my game. I'll see if I can go back to another saved game and try it again and see if it work. Ugh!
