Just had a quick play and have got as far as getting the trapdoor half open. Really enjoying it.

Just a hint, mj2c. You have to "get" and repair, and then reinstall the "COG". THAT will open the trapdoor fully. ENJOY!

Slider puzzle. 4 ornate globes, fire in fireplace are clues that I'm sure you've figured out by now.
