Nancy Drew Shadow at the Water's Edge

Hi All
I am playing ND Shadow at the Water's Edge, Senior mode. Can any body give any tips on the portrait wire puzzle, I have been fooling with this puzzle and can't seem to get it. Many thanks

The first thing I would do would be to find the wire with the most attachments, put it in the top righthand corner, and work from there.
