Cognition 3 The Oracle

I am at the Enthon Towers. in Cordelia's bedroom, and have opened the drawer to read Cordelia's notes, unfortunately (and I have replayed the scene 3 times) when I click on the notes it sticks, the music is playing but the mouse will not do anything and I have to cnt/alt/delete to get out of the game, now I could contact steam but I wondered if anyone had a save game for after this so that I could continue playing, I can catch up with what I miss on youtube. I have looked on Steam's site and there is no sign that I can see of anyone having the same problem.

I sent you a saved game - hope that is the one you need.
I also sent you a saved after that one - looks like there's a lot in between.

Ok I have to admit I can't find the saved files, I found steam in Programmes86/steam/steamapps/common/cognition/episode3 but from then on I couldn't find any files like the ones you sent me so I am guessing the save files are somewhere else I have done a search but to no avail - I am so sorry to be such an idiot.

Well after more searching I think I may have found it - Programmes86/steam/userdata/93359113/24278/remote/cognition_episode3. Well they don't use easy to understand file names!!

would you be kind enough to confirm this is right.

I did not get my game from Steam.

Please check also - C:\Users\computer's name\AppData\LocalLow\Phoenix Online Studios
and see if it is there. My Cognition episode 4 is there.

Thanks MaG, I did try your save games, renumbering them as per mine but they would not work, so by this time I guessed that you had bought the game from a different supplier. I will raise a ticket with Steam and lets see what happens, but thanks for all your help!!

I thought that they might work. Did you find the saved game folder at the link above?

Thanks MaG, no the only thing I had in LocalLow was Microsoft and I clicked through that just in case but nada. I will raise a ticket with Steam but I have to have a new hard drive next week - oh what fun reinstalling everything - so I will wait until after that as things will be different and Steam want to know all about your computer.

I did some more digging and I found Phoenix in users/login (which is not my computer name but never mind) it had episode 3 but the file was empty as my save games are in Steam, I might try later putting your saves in this file to see if it works, somehow I doubt it as the saves are named differently and as I am always being told I am an eternal pessimist - will let you know.

Well blow me down with a feather (actually that's not what I said but I can't put in print what I said) your save games are in my game even though they are not Steam - WHAT A CLEVER LADY YOU ARE Now I know why you are head/founder of Gameboomers. Thank you so much
