Morningstar : Descent to Deadrock

I'm really liking this game but after doing really well with it, I now find myself thoroughly stuck

I'm up to the part where all the "drones" are flying round so I have to find an alternative way to get back to my ship.

Fixing the circuit board of the big ventilator in the small room near the generator seems to be the next thing I should do in this crater area (who knows ) however, so far I have been totally unsuccessful !!

Can anyone please offer help ??

I have not played the game.
Until someone can help us - Iurii posted at discussion forum about "hints" - ...use hints (radio talks with the captain).
Have tried that?

Yes, I tried the "radio hints" before coming here to Gameboomers - but they aren't helping for where I'm stuck.

I realise I need someone to have played past where I am and that not that many people might be playing the game yet - but my fingers are crossed

Yeah, the game pretty much hits a brick wall at that point. I spent longer on this than I care to admit (and longer than on the rest of the game combined). Go pixel hunt on the screen where you shot the drone for a object you (and I, and from what I can tell from my internet searches, everyone else on the planet) missed.

WOW you are way ahead of me. I cant find where to switch the ventilation system on, took me a while to fix it now where is the switch ????

Well, that got me moving again, thank you VERY much. Although I am thoroughly ashamed of myself !!
That screen must be the only one in the game (so far) where I wasn't alert enough to find every available interactive spot

maggsie .... Switching stuff on and off in this area involves using the alien signs (which are in several locations) and the console units - and I have to admit getting to grips with it all drove me mad !!

Even so, I do like this game

I did eventually work out what I needed to do but I'm afraid I was so shattered by the time I'd switched all that needed switching that I never wrote any of it down so I can't give you "specifics".
However this morning (when I'd recovered my senses) I found a really good four part video walkthrough which I'm sure would help you - if you get desperate and no one else posts here

Just go to Youtube and type in :

Changing the episode number as you need to, of course.]

It's difficult to explain exactly what to do. It took me an absolute age to work it out !!

However, if you take a peek at the walkthrough I gave a link for, earlier in this thread, you should find enough info to help you progress.

[I know I wished I'd found the walkthrough before I tackled that part !!]

Finally finished the game. Thank you to those who provided links to walkthroughs and you tube videos. I sort of think that there would be an opening for a sequel because of something that Powell found close to the end of the game.

I also just finished this game. I LOVED it. .It sure helped to have the "Official Morningstar Walkthrough" to refer to (frequently. I might add).
