ND Labyrinth of Lies

I am enjoying this one immensely (spelling?) and using MaG's splendid walkthrough to help me when I get stuck - I am doing OK but am a bit disappointed that I cannot find that scythe phone charm in the underground, have all others up to that point but can't seem to 'catch' this one. Anyone have a snapshot of just where it is? Thanks much and no big deal if I have to skip it. See y'all later when I DO get stuck! LOL

I was - until I hit that silly timed puzzle, "deactivate the alarm" - and I find I cannot speed up enough to solve it, anyone have a saved game for this part, amateur that I am after all these years but having fun when not stuck. Thanks much Love, Betty Lou

Betty Lou, I will send you a saved game. Just so you know, you need to try to disable the alarm after having come through the door from the Underworld - if you approach the alarm from the other entrance, you don't have enough time.

I am a bit confused and wish to make clear just how much you did before solving that timed puzzle - I do not have in inventory the spectroscope (see MaG's walkthrough page 11. I/you had already retrieved the lift remote from Thanos. Did you already solve the puzzle and get that missing piece from the ivy puzzle? I do not now have spectro in inventory nor the missing tile piece and can't figure out where I have to go from here to continue. Thanks for your help again

What are still in your "to do" list?
- Use the stage elevator and see if the spectroscope is by the tree when you go down underground.
- If you can access Tartarus now - check if the vine puzzle(if this is the ivy puzzle you mentioned) is already done.

Sorry to be so long getting back here, contractor came Thurs AM and worked 2 days on my new front patio roof - MaG thanks and I will check my "to do" list in this ND game when I get back into it. Thanks for this, don't know why I just could not think of that myself. Seem a bit muddled now and then. LOL I will let you and Marian know (soon) how I do/did

I am stuck, am using the tasks list to help me and have left yet to do = trigger Tartarus keypad, ,explore workshop, tablet entry meaning famous Greeks, Greek letter panel in tunnel, explore Tartarus, Explore Underworld, Authorize Database password. The list of tasks I have already accomplished is too long to list here. Have to check vine/ivy puzzle but believe you must have done it as it is or appears not to be active anymore. Do not have tile for puzzle box so you must have done it. Am wandering around in circles and am confused. Will be back after checking it all out again today. You must have taken pictures and tried to prove Provenance as all 3 or 4 are denied on office computer. So I am not sure just where I am now in storyline. thanks for helping me

Go through it and see which ones you can perform.

Hi. have been back in game and finally learned how to use task list and w/t to guide me - am stuck again and have to ask = Marian, I need to verify authenticity of gold necklace, have pottery shard but am unable to rub it on necklace - did you already do that? Also, have not found or done the puzzle to obtain the spectroscope and need it but do not know where to look for it, need it for emerald earrings. I have "explore(d) Workshop many many times but am unable to check it off my list and have a curiosity question about it too - I know the way into the workshop thru the secret tunnel from museum but cannot figure out how to return to museum same way from workshop, how do I do that or is it just not possible? Thanks

Hi Betty Lou,

When you are in the workshop, face in the direction of the pottery kiln and table where you work on the pottery. Look at the tall shelves in the upper lefthand corner of the screen - this is how you got into the workshop. Just click on the shelves and a door will open and you will be back in the tunnel that leads back into the museum.

It's easy to miss finding the spectroscope:

Hey Hey have finished this one and LOVED it - just wish there was an "out" way past timed puzzles like the one where I got stuck yet again. Thanks Marian for that video link, I found it as helpful as the task/to-do list and MaG's excellent walktru - am off to get ND's next adventure (last one made to date?) and hope not to get stuck again but will be back here if I do.
