myst v end of ages HELP

dear lovely people,i am playing,(myst v end of ages),its a very unique game,i am now in the age called "tahgira"
i face a frozen lake,i must also provied heat,in order to
pass this lake,with a timed puzzle,i must move 3 levers 2
times in a very short period,and this is just impossible
the levers move very hard,this itself takes away time ,
bottom line i must have a saved game,to overcome this hard puzzle,now the real problem starts,you canot install
a saved game,i does not work with save games at all,but
while playing,then you can save,or even restore,but only
if the game was saved in the game,it works with "data files"from ages you play,in the game,and also "images"
in short words,PEOPLE HELP ME,i am stuck in the game
i am also stuck,by using a saved game wich does not work.

Did you check for saved games here?

dear MaG,thanks alot for your interest in helping me,but the
place where you show,is worth nothing,they dont say what is for what,plus you can only download for the whole game at once
plus as i sead before,this funny game,does not work with save game files at all,it works with files,called "data files",and this files is for the few ages,wich the game plays on them
evry age has a different data file,despite all this,i downloaded the whole bunch,but how to install them,i dont know
PLEASE try to help me,and if not you,maybe someone else.

The page did state - chronological save points.

This is what one walkthrough states:
Q: How do I save the game?
A: You don't. Or rather, you don't have to, unless you really, really want it.
The game auto saves any and all changes you do to an Age as well as the
position you were when you last quit. If you really want to create a save
point, then the game offers you the possibility by using your camera. Each
time you take a picture a new save game is created.

Q: Where is the save game folder?
A: If you look into the readme.txt file you'll find that it's located at
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Myst V: End
of Ages. You have to replace "User" with your name assuming you are using
Win XP or 2000.

Maybe that can help you. If not - wait if someone else will jump in.
