Hi MaG...in the Crossroads area with D'ro playing...cannot find dug hole with X's..hear chirping birds..you say go forward to hole..there is no really forward and I have been all over all paths many times,,can you give any more directions or..thanks Chuck

You have to go through the whole traveling first before you will see the X marks the spot area.
The clues are sounds:
-If the path is correct, hear bells and sometimes Guybrush says some assuring statements.
-If the path taken is wrong, Guybrush goes back to the well to start over.


Maze:
At the crossroad, go to top road. See the well.
Dip the map on the well. The earth shakes and the map glows.
Take the right path. Hear snort of the boar and bells.
Take a bomb from the ground. Guybrush takes all the bombs.
Continue to the right. Hear chimps and bells.
Take upper right path above the stone stand. Hear buzzing bees and bells.
At the crossroad, take the bottom path and hear monkeys.
At crossroad where D'Oro is playing dolls, go bottom right (in front of D'Oro). Hear snorts of the boar and bells.
Take the upper left path. Hear bees and bells at crossroad with altar.
Take the left path and hear chirping birds.
Go forward and see a dug hole - X marks the spot.

Hi ...found hole...moved on but..came out to the hut and I can't give the deadline pass..back some ..you say look at map..footsteps to jungle and pass word deadline. Am I suppose to have a map other than one in my inventory..this one does not open up,etc...thanks Chuck

D'Oro should have given you the treasure map.
Then after D'Oro get his treasure, talk completely to Nipperkin.
Check the map to see the password - deadline.
Get another map from Nipperkin.

Hi..yes..went back and checked with your WT..thought I did everything..must be a trigger or something,,have noticed my PC takingtseveral times to do something..could be my PC..thanks Chuck..are we talking about a different map from one in my inventory that I used on the well..I assume we are.

Yes - it's a different kind of map.
Guybrush talks to Nipperkin about Deep Gut and Nipperkin gives a sort of folder/map.
Guybrush would see the path to Deep Gut in the file/map given by the reporter with the word deadline.
Then you go back to jungle and get Guybrush to follow the directions.

Hi MaG..have backed at least 3 times..followed word for word your WT..get sword ..see Flotsam map..to Dolls..talk to D'oro..collects Pirates..rarest is Ninja...then you say..He gives the worthless map to Guy...for me he does not give me Map...if I can't get this map..must stop this game. Did go on..the X..happy about treasure,etc..but for Hut need password..thanks for help..Chuck

Hi MaG...first WT did it..started at first..could see no difference from yours until..to X spot..digs ninja..real happy..Nipper shows up..talks...THEN goes inside and makes copy of map..gives to Guy..looks at..sees pass..Deadline. It would seem making COPY
..did it...thanks for help..moving on finally..Chuck..

Hi MaG..trouble again....to Calendar..to walk around few times..changes to colors..have walked around and around,,clockwise and anti clockwise..can not get colors(other WT says anti-clockwise),,any suggestions..thanks Chuck
