Leaves: The Journey

Nice game this.
I am currently having some difficulty working out the puzzle in the room across the lake from where you pull the noses. I thought the blinking eyes might have something to do with it, but not so far at least that I can discern. A poke in the right direction would be appreciated.
And what's with the "need help" button at the menu - it takes you to an unrelated puzzle
