just started game at the part where i just hung bucket of bricks on the wheel handle -the curtain is drawn.but now i need go to the control room and flip the switch on the projector but she said that i need to pul the curtain open.

When you hung the bucket, did you turn the handle as far as you could until it clicked?

I see a few other people on the Big Fish forum for the game who were having the same problem, and this is what one poster suggested.

iam at the ghost train and just used the plastic with the string on drive wheels,i was going to save but for some odd reason i must of clicked on the wrong button when i try to click on save it said do i want to over ride the save game in progress .now what do i do i don't to restart from my last saved game..

If you override your last saved game, the game will then be saved where you are now and your previous save will be deleted. It just means that you are not making a completely new saved game where you will still also have your last one. As long as you have more than one saved game prior to this, you should be okay.

It may also give you an option to say that you don't want to override your last saved game - if you say no, then cancel out, you can then choose to save a new game and leave the last save alone.

the last save game is at the Amusement Park,New Jersey.so that is like starting over.if i can help it i would like not to do that.

Do you only have two saved games?

If the game asks you if you want to override your saved game, you should be able to say "no," and then no harm done.

no I have more than 8 saved games,no mater what i click on i go back to some saved that is at the very start of this game ,odd huh.so i guess i will have to go back to my last save and go on from there .

well back on track now . I think I will save more often.

Save early and save often - that is always a good rule of thumb.

I played that game when it was first released, but barely remember it.

That is still my favourite Sherlock game from Frogwares. Loved it and have played it a few times now

hit a bump in the road -at the part where i put the seeds in and checked them ,put the wrapping and watermark is selected and i see a map of louisiana where the seeds found i hit print button at right,it said press green arrow at botton right -i don't see green arrow ...and i can't print out copies at the printer at left side of room.

A lot of players seem to have trouble with this area in the game. One walkthrough I looked at says the following:

ok now can't leave the area she said wang will get mad if she don't leave every thing as it was ?

Try reading through this thread and see if any of the suggestions there help you.

I have seen so many folks over the years get stuck at this part of the game that I have to think the game is a little glitchy/buggy in this section, but hopefully something there will be of help to you.

thanks but nothing helped still stuck in lab.i have tried every thing -i get not going to happen !

Unfortunately I have no other advice to give apart from reading over the walkthrough and/or trying to reload a saved game before entering the lab and playing through it again.

I had someone here about a month ago asking for a saved game for this part - I sent her a saved game, but apparently the save only takes you through the seeds puzzle but does not get you out of the lab, so that would not help in this situation.

There is a video walkthrough of the game on YouTube that starts here and you could watch that - maybe something there would help. I am not sure which part of the walkthrough you would need, but you could check it out.

I wish I had something else to suggest. Maybe another player will see this thread and offer some additional advice.

thanks i only have a few things to put back ,but like i said these items don't match.i have played this game 3-4 time and never had this much problems. the utube walkthrough dos't show her putting any thing back.

this game is from a disc is that the problem ?

That should not present a problem.

It's the only thing I can think of to try, aside from watching a YouTube video where someone got through it without a problem.

back again redid every thing can't leave the lab room need to put back every thing or wang will be mad at me.so back to square 1..now what ?

I am really sorry that did not work. As I said before, I have seen players stuck here before and unable to get out of the lab, and all I can suggest is looking over the walkthrough and watching the YouTube video. It would appear that this part of the game can be glitchy. I wish I had something more useful to offer here.
