How to bypass the "simon says" puzzle in The Arrival? - 12/12/17 02:33 AM
This very old game by HavokWare includes a set of puzzles where you need to repeat sequnces of moves. There are several of these and if you get the pattern wrong, the sequence speeds up making it that much harder to follow.
The longest sequence is about ten items.
Now the game was written for Win95 and perhaps was slow enough to be solvable on such an old machine. On my WinXP unit, even when I slow down the game using the program CPUKiller, the sequence to repeat is so fast that it is impossible to memorize.
Every other puzzle can be bypassed by using the ? key, but this particular one does not respond to the ? key. Is there any way to bypass this puzzle?
The game is old enough that I can't get any good hits with Google if this question has been discussed.
