Shades of Black

Please help. I`ve opened the tablet in the Sun Cannon and read the message, I should get a text from Edison but I`m not and thusly I cannot proceed. Thank you in advance.

I'm not at my computer now, but what does it say in the journal? At least on the left side.

Thank you for your concern. I went back to my last save, worked my way back up and now it seems to be working.
Either my computer is getting old or I am. Maybe both!

It's always helpful to check the journal when stuck. If nothing else, it helps me understand what exactly you have done. If you're afraid of spoilers, you can look on the left side of the journal only, where it tells you where to go. Good luck with the rest of the game!
