Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the ripper

I have restarted this game 3 times. I can't get the Richardson dialogue in the conclusion. I can't go anywhere on the map either. What do I need to do? thanks.

I haven't played this game, so on my part I can only suggest looking at a video walkthrough or a written walkthrough for solutions.

We do have some folks here who have played this game, and perhaps they might be able to offer some suggestions.

I found a guide here with pictures that says it is a fast track through the game which might be of help.
