The Shape Shifting Detective

I just purchased this game and so far having lots of fun. However I am not sure on how to move forward per say. I have just been going back to ask people questions etc. and checking in with the Chief. Is anyone else playing this game right now and if so do have a sequence you are following? Thanks for any input.

Apart from waiting to see if anyone here is playing the game and can offer some advice, I found a playthrough on YouTube that might be of help here.

The game looks like fun. The Steam discussion forum for the game will probably also be a good place to look for advice and to ask questions.
