beyond time

I have gotten all the way to the space station and to the 3rd floor. I still have a key left and there was a chest in this room. But my key wouldn't do anything here. Soooo, I went to the walkthrough and sure enough it says to use the key to open the chest.

Mine won't work. Is there a different chest or have I missed something.

I never got the jugs to let me pour in the Scale room so I am wondering about a possible glitch. Any help would be appreciated since I am so close to the end.

The only thing I can think of (besides the jugs) is to check and make sure you are in the right place. There are two levels to Howard's, and you should be on the lower one. The walkthrough that I saw described this as a "cabinet" not a chest, so you might check further to make sure you are trying to open the right thing.

I wouldn't expect the jugs to cause a problem as long as you got the coordinates you needed from the walkthrough.....
