The Day the World Broke questions??

I am playing this game and find that I cannot get Diode to accept the Medallion that Cathode magnetised for me. I found a walk through and seem to have done everthing that I should have but must have missed something. The website for this game no longer belongs to HMI. I would be interested in any information you have. Thank you.

Diode needs an antimagnetic medallion suitable for mechanimals. This will be different from one suitable for humans. You will have to find a way to make one where the metal parts are the glass parts and the glass parts are the metal.
