Hi, I am having a problem. In the fouth level talking to the old woman, I get out of the game board and go look at the wall and check my document then go back to the game board, I click on the 3rd square from the right on the top click it with my document. The clue that I have on my list is Senet game and it doesnt give me the name that the WT says I'm supposed to get. I've done this several times and it wont give me the name. Any suggestions?
Here is a quote from a different walkthrough; maybe following these directions will get you the name you need: SPOILER * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Leave the puzzle display when it comes up and walk over to the carvings on the far wall to your right. Click on the leftmost carving identified as Senet. Use your coded message on the ? in your inventory to compare the message with the Senet game carving on the wall. There is a difference in the placement of markers within the two grids. Your coded message doesn't have a marker in the upper eighth square from the left.
Leave the wall. Go back to the stele beside the old woman. Click on the stele. From the left, click on the 8th square in the top row of the puzzle display. Use your coded message from inventory on the Cobra symbol. You have found the fourth and final clue: Nefer
Jenny, thats pretty much what I have done. On the far right of your inventory list is an asterick that lists all the clues you have found. I have about 8 items in that list, the last one being the senet game. Could it be that I have picked up too many items?
It's been a loooong time since I played this game, but I don't remember any limitation on the inventory. There are three main things you have to do, in this order:
1. On the wall to the far right, click on the leftmost carving.
2. Click the parchment in your inventory on the ?
3. On the stele beside the old woman, click your parchment on the cobra symbol on the eighth square from the left in the top row...
I figured it out. What I thought I had done, I hadnt. The very first one wasnt on my paper. So its back to the beginning for me!!! waaaaaa lol Thanks for your help msweetstuff
Well, I'm glad you figured out the problem, even if it does mean starting over. <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" /> This game is very unforgiving about those four names on the parchment...
