Egypt I - Spooky Cobra Lady

Okay, here we go again. More help, please! I've made it through the tomb and spoken briefly with the Cobra lady (scary-lookin' old broad). I've followed Witchen's w/t (whatever would I do without her??), clicked on the square she indicated on the Senet, got the snake in my message, but when I show the message to Lizard Woman, she says she doesn't understand it. NOW what have I done?? (I can't figure out whether it's my computer or the game itself that's possessed in this house...)

Hi ya', Goopie...... When the sign comes up that you are looking for you need to click your document/parchment on it and then click it on the old woman. Are you sure you have all four clues:

2nd clue; level 2, first house in the village, clue of Pedjet.
3rd clue; level 3, embalmer's house, sarcophagi room, clue of Heri.
4th clue; level 4, outside the nobleman's tomb, final clue.

Hello again, dear Witchen. What would I do without you?? When I originally visited the 2nd through 4th Clue sites, and clicked on the coded message, I saw each clue being drawn onto the message. However, when I originally visited Ptah - and since, when I start over and try again - I see nothing new added. Is that what I'm missing? If so, why did each clue site add something, but Ptah did not? How do I go about getting that one? If that's not it, then I screwed up somewhere else, I guess...!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" />

Hi ya' Goopie.......Here's the bad news.....This game is unique in that you can't go back and get Ptah (if you are SURE you don't have it)from where you are now. You will have to start over. Often players do this (miss Ptah) because they aren't sure about the navigation action required early in the game in order to pick up the first clue.

Here are the directions from the first few paragraphs of the walkthrough:

. Use your plank to span the hole. Go forward twice to cross to the opposite side. You find yourself in a small antechamber. Look at the first pillar on your left. Use the coded message in your inventory on the pillar, to find your first clue: Ptah. When you do this, you should see the item transfer to your parchment. I also think it is a staff, but have forgotten for sure.
