Arthur 2- celtic quest 7 part 2

I am in Avalon and the fairy just gave me a riddle to solve in the tower of the wind. I go on the platform and get teleported to another area nearby and there are no stones there for the answer. Is this another bug in the game?

ALready I had to redo a part over because I did not do it in the exact order of the walkthrough. By doing the exact same steps but in a differnt order I got into a dead end where an object would no interact. Has this happened again. If so, can someone please send me a save as I do not want to have to backtrack again. Several locations ago I accidentally clicked on an item in inventory when the walkthrough did not mention it and the person took the item. I am not sure which person that was otherwise I would redo it.

Is this how the entire gmae is going to be--if I don't follow the walkthorugh to the letter, I get in a dead end

There are I think three different platforms you can transport to. I know that sometimes they are not all active. Check out the other two. It is easy to miss one. I did more than once in both games. LOL

Well I redid this part of the game and this time I did NOT use any inventory item unless specified by the walkthrough. That was the only thing that differed and this time it worked. Another case of doing something that you aren't supposed to( or in the wrong order) that results in a dead end. So far I have found one in each quest.
