I have combined the walkman and telephone. I am in the tone sequencer and have pressed acquire, but when I try and press process, it won't click on. No matter if I left or right click, but if I click on process first, it does it's thing and then I press acquire and it does it's thing, but the same message shows up that there is no sequence - no matter what I do. Yes, I did listen to the tape to the end, so I must have missed something else. I did look at the log a little. Am I suppose to read everything in the log? Thanks for the help.

Did you listen to the cassette first before you combined the walkman with the telephone?
At the end of the tape, did you hear a number being dialed? That is the one that you need to 'acquire' and 'process'.

Yes, MaG, I did all that, but misunderstood. For reason thought that number was going to go in by itself and not by me.

Is is necessary for me to click in the inventory to get the medalions for Victoria, or because Darryl already gave those to her, she just has to run to the lion and insert the medalion? I've tried several times watching how close I can get her to the lion and close in on the mouth and she appears to be putting something in the mouth, but I'm not sure (sorry Darryl). Thanks.

You have to have Victoria hold from inventory a medallion to use on the lion's mouth. The cursor is picky on the clicking place on the mouth.

I did a search for this game and saw that someone else wanted a save because they had tried and tried to get Darryl out. When I first saw this hint for the sand trap, I thought there was no way this would be quick enough to get Darryl out of there, but it worked the first time I used it. I was determined that if it didn't, I would ask for a save, because if I had to hear him say s--- one more time - Enough was enough.

Hit the spacebar as soon as the cursor reappears (don't think I saw one, but hit it as soon as Victoria stopped), then turn to face the lion (right arrow key). Now hit the tab key and left click on the word medallion, then right click on a medallion so that a + shows (means medallion is in her hand). Hit the tab key again and then left click the medallion into the lion's mouth. The sliding door opens and Darrel walks out. Hope this works for others.

Possible glitch? I am in the labyrinth and have gone down the stairs to the clockroom, now I am going across the hall, but I can't seem to walk into that room. I get close, but when I click either on the doorway, into the room, close to the doorway, he turns around and starts to walk away, stops and that's it. I can move the curser around, but he does not move. I've tried about 4 times to get him into that room, but he just doesn't go in, just turns around. Help from anyone?

If you're trying to enter the study, some have found a glitch her and can't step over the threshold into that room. I think it is because as you step into the threshold a cutscene should happen.

Hi Butterfly,

I just sent you 4 files which equal 2 saves. Put them all in your saves folder.

Is it possible though that the reason you can't get in the room is because you are not clicking on something that has a word/description coming up on the hotspot? For the stairs, you need to click on them when you have the description and for the room, you need to do the same with anything in the room that you can see from the doorway.

I hope either the saves or the info helps. Let me know how it goes.

Edit: I figured out what the problem is. The same thing happened to me. What you have to do is press the space bar and the close-up view enables the hotspots so you can get out of the stuckedness.
