The Sacred Amulet

Hi everyone,
I'm at the point where I have to go back to Little
Serpent's house. I found a house with red all the way around the door. Is this right? There is no digging stick outside, just some baskets, and it won't let me go in.
I hope I haven't missed something. I can't go on with this until someone gives me a hand.

I think you're at the correct house. The house has a red border around the door.

The digging stick is on the right side of the front entry, against the wall.

The game might not let you in if you don't have the digging stick.

If still can't go on - try going back to a saved game and replay to this part - you might have missed something.

Be sure you go to the right village, there are red trimmed houses in the Market Town also.

And don't forget the 'Golden Rule' - SAVE, SAVE, SAVE, SAVE, SAVE, SAVE, oh well, you get the idea.

You were right, I was in the wrong place. Got back to the house, got the digging stick, found the statue of Goddess of Flowers, but it won't let me dig up anything,HELP!

Maybe the spot you want to dig is not the correct spot - There are several places that you can dig in the backyard of the house
.
Use the digging stick to excavate twice in the ground to the left of the steam bath entrance. Return the digging stick to inventory and pick up the treasure, a turquoise mask.
OR - Dig beneath the statue on the wall of the steam bath in the back yard.

Don't worry - you're not a pest - you've reached a problem spot in a game. Hopefully, we can get you through.

I really can't remember how to use the inventory in this game - too many games in between!

Face the statue that is to the left of the entrance to that building in the back. The wall will be on your left. Look down, take the digging stick from inventory. Not sure if you can zoom on the ground but look down and use the digging stick all over that ground until you can find a hot spot.

I will research more and call on Witchen to help us out.

If you are sure you are in Little Serpent's Village, go straight ahead to his parent's house...red around door and follow the instructions Mag provided above. Should be no problem.
