Druids: The Receipe?

Hi Again: I understand the receipe, however after I put an crushed herb in the water bowl, I empty it out + choose anther herb. I've seen all the colours but the bowl doesn't accept me adding 2 red, 2 unkn and 1 blue I even start with fresh water each time.The water bowl just doesn't allow me to add the receipes crushed herbs no matter what order I try. Any suggestions? I have been following the GB W/T up to this point
