Calsoon 2

I started this game this morning (its a free one from Gaspop) and have the gameboomers walkthru I am using. I seem to be having trouble trying to figure out how to 'climb a ladder'. You would think it is easy, just choose 'socks' from the menu on top and 'put socks on ladder' or use the hand icon same way. NO GO. Tork just stands there and won't climb up. Any other hints I need to know?

Been away for a few days (just returned, & haven't caught up yet! ), and got a new computer which badly needs urgent attention.

IIRC, you simply use the hand on the ladder ... I think this is the regular method of 'operating' something.
True, a more logical method would be to use the Shoes/walk (I think this is what you mean by the 'socks"). But you know point & click games ... they sometimes are a bit tricky.
BTW, there are 2 ladders you have to climb ... both the same way.
If this doesn't 'work' I think something's wrong with your download
