The Ward-Help - 02/13/02 10:13 PM

Hi Boomers,

I am at the part with the COLOR PUZZLE, I read the walkthrough several times and did exactly what it says. But nothing is happening. This is how I did it. 2 circles(cyan, green) 2 triangles(yellow, red) This how I placed them. First cyan cirle at the top. Second, yellow triangle at the bottom. Third, Red Triangle at the top. Fourth, Green circle at the bottom. And then I used the crystal cone from my inventory on the tiles that I just put together, or do a put the crystal cone from my inventory on the tiles that is already there on the eye. I am very confused. What am I do wrong.

HI Liz..........Its not just a matter of putting the correct color and shape in the right position. There are several of the same shape with identical color. So you have to find the correct light blue circle to put in the upper position, the correct red triangle in the upper position, etc. It'll take a little time. When you have it right, the rest will work.

Love, Witchen =O) smile

Hello again, Witchen.
Another game, another problem. Is it correct that one of the triangles will only produce a yellow triangle in the upside down position? This is what is happening in my game and that seems to identify which triangle HAS to go on the bottom as yellow leaving the other triangle to go on the top as red (red first, yellow second). Which should leave one only to determine which circle to cyan for the first move to the top and which to make green for the last move to the bottom. However, it isn't working. Now, cyan is the pale blue color and when we say red, we are talking a true red and not that sort of magenta color? Seems like I have it right: pale blue circle (try both)on top, red triangle up, yellow triangle down, green circle bottom. Nada. <img border="0" alt="pacify" title="" src="graemlins/pacify.gif" />

Hi Reenie...Not sure what you mean "what is this about the crystal cone?"

When you are in that process of clicking on "tile" and "plates" and you see the plate with the word "tiles", click on it and hold for a few seconds. Walker should walk over and take this object. Then, you can put the crystal cone and the tiles in your inventory with the first plate.

Here's the relevant part from the walkthrough:
Walk down the long, dangerous looking corridor to another huge hatch at the opposite end. Open the hatch and enter a large circular area. This room has a ring of reddish lights around the walls. And, a black sphere floating over a green circular platform on the floor. There is a gray disk shaped object suspended in the air over the middle circle. This disk is designated as a "plate" when you pass your cursor over it. Click on the plate. Walker will walk over and stand within the green circle. Click on the glowing plate to the right. It glows and now displays symbols of some kind. Click on the plate again. You will take the PLATE and be able to place it in your inventory. Walker ask, "Now where did I see this before?" You recognize it from the symbol on one of the screens in the security control room you have just left at the other end of the corridor.

Now notice that another plate has appeared in the same place. Click on it. This time the plate lights up and a shower of "fairy dust" twinkling lights appears and the plate transforms itself. Then, it moves directly away from you. If you place your cursor over the new reddish, floating object, it reads, "tiles." Click on it. Hold the mouse button down for a few seconds. Walker will walk over and take the object. Put the TILES along with the CRYSTAL CONE in your inventory with the first Plate. (If you click now on the circle of reddish lights around the wall, you will note that it is now called an energized section.) Now click on the engraving (symbol) at Walker's feet.
(This is where you start the Floating Tiles Puzzle)
