THANKS for replying ... anybody else who can help, please don't be put off !!!
BTW ... it's a nice fairly short & relativey easy game (a few stucknesses as always!).
Here's the problem ..............

I finished this a few months ago ... as far as I remember without any serious problem. Now my wife is playing it (and nearly finished) but is completely stuck near the end and I can't remember to help.

I don't want to give the game away so I'll try to be careful.

Very close to the end it seems (and the walkthru backs this up) that you need a cheese chest (whatever that may be!) --- but she hasn't GOT a cheese chest or any cheese.

PLEASE *** H E L P *** !

If you know where you can find a cheese chest or even some cheese anywhere along the (fairly short) route[s] ... please let us know ASAP.

Thanks in advance .... Len. smile

Sorry Len...I have looked at a couple of W/T with no luck...I don't remember any Cheese..but then it's been a long time since I played the game! I wonder if the original game is different than the "freeware"?? The Spoiler.com has a couple of w/t but I didn't see any mention of cheese.. What is the "Calendra"? that's the only thing I saw in the w/t that I didn't remember...Glynn

Len, I checked the search engines for another walkthrough yesterday and didn't find anything to help. Sorry. There is only one wt for Zak 2 but there's several for Zak 1.

Thanks Glynn & MaG,

I posted this on ½ dozen Sites and I think you were the only ones to react.

Just now, I got the answer from somebody called Jason on Mr. Bill's and my wife finished the game with no trouble.

You're right. There are several walkthrus for "Zak McKracken" proper & also a UHS-File.
"The New Adventures of Zak McKracken" is however a completely different game (AFAIK using the same character & possibly format) made using AGS and distributed Freeware.
I'm almost certain that there is just the one walkthru for that and it bears no resemblance to the original "Zak" game.
