Agh Omega Stone Maze !!!

I am in the underground Maze at the Sacred Cenote, I am using a W/T for this part and I find it just a tad more than **%@&^*$ horrible.
The Maze not the W/T and Map.
Question....does it matter if you go out of sequence in collecting Skulls etc.I find I have to go back as I miss a room but have collected Skulls before I do so.
And why Oh why do the Skulls not light up with their name when you highlight them in the inventory.
Quick hint would be nice.

The skull collection doesn't need to be in sequence and also there are only 6 skulls that are needed out of all of those.
The red X marks the skulls you need in this map .

That'l teach me to read and not skip over things. Have a Print out of the maps and just blindly went ahead and collected everything...should have read that only the ones in Red were needed....I have a save from when I slid down the rope and entered the opening so will overwrite what I dont need in the Save file in regards to skulls etc.

I worried about collecting all of them. Then lo and behold I only needed six. I had the six I needed long before I figured it out.

I didn't have all of them, I only had five, plus 11 others, and believe it or not there was a duplicate! And of course that was a bug, so I had to back up to a save and collect them again, and I still didn't have one, but with the help of the walkthrough, I eventually found the one I'd missed. Boy, was I ticked off after all that to find out I only need six! GRRRRRR

I know what you mean...I have about 7 Blue Skulls and another Scroll....But gonna go back to the entrance from the Pool a bit later.
I was using the 2 Maps of the Underground Maze and got hopelessly lost...Now Dont Laugh..I had the Map upside down so everything was on the wrong side of the Maze to my eyes.
Whoops I went and made a hot drink till the Blue Air had disapated,

I thought I was the one who invented Blue Air lol!! Just finished Uru and working on the Expansion Pack and believe me at times the air is more than Blue!!Happy gaming.Loved Omega Stone. I think CD games were the mother in frustration and hair pulling.

I realized that I would only need six skulls for the main puzzle, once I found the telling clue, but I wasn't sure if I'd need the rest later on in the game, so I just kept on collecting.

I'm now in another part of the game where other skulls come in to play. <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/woozy.gif" />

How did you identify each of the Skulls when they were in your inventory, to me they all look the same ???

Walt,
You should be able to see the symbols well enough when you pass your cursor over them. Still, it is confusing as the parade of skulls passes by in inventory. <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/woozy.gif" />

I realized after collecting several of them that there would be more than one representing each location. I copied down all the designs as I got them under the location symbols (pyramid for Chitchen Itza, moai head for Easter Isl., and so on). I've seen these same designs appearing later on in the game, so you might want to keep a record of them. I don't know yet if it's truly necessary, but I'm not taking any chances.
