Syberia - Constructing Oscar's Legs

I can't get the machine to produce Oscar's legs. I have done all of the steps prior to this point. The punch card is in place, the switches on the right side are all on, the number 3 light is on, the color is correct but when I try to start the assembly line by activiating the right switch Kate comments "Doesn't seem like that's going to work". I would appreciate someone's help on this. Thanks.

Have you talked completely with Oscar about his leg?

Have you done the bringing in of the material to use in the whole leg making process from the delivery Area??

Delivery area: Look at the metal canister taken from the shed outside and realize that it is heavy for Kate to carry. Turn the wheel of the automaton forklift. Watch it take the canister and bring it to the big round container at the center of the assembly line.

Let's recap the process:
1. Insert Oscar's punch card in the slot at bottom center of the panel.
2.Pull down the lever for assembly line 3 (only one that works) at bottom right and the light will turn on.
3. The lever on the left of the punch card selects the skin tone of Oscar - flip the lever to select tan color (selections are tan, white, brown and mottled brown). Lightest yellowish/golden setting -- the one with a fairly smooth grain and no knots.
4. Go down and pick up the finished wooden legs from the end of assembly line 3.

If correct, the complete production steps from picking up the wood, cutting, drilling and finished product is seen. If incorrect choice of color is done, only the drilling and delivery of finished feet is shown. Select a new color on the console then.

If you have done all the above, best go to a saved game and replay to this part. there might be something that was missed before.

Hi:

Have you turned on the power to the factory? When you first walk in you have to turn to Kate's left and walk along the wall to a door and turn on the mechanical mouse in the wheel power grid. Also if you walk around the outside of the factory there is a large cylinder that has to be sent into the factory for use in making the legs.
