i have gotten through the door with the sounds an am now in the room where the priestess is skewered and i have opened the triangles and gotten the paper and lit the lamp infront of the giant idol and it turns around and then my wt says to go backward and then forward until the fork it also says that i am supposed to turn with the idol but everything stays the same have i missed something help

When you light the lamp in front of the idol ---- you should be behind the altar in front of the giant idol. Standing between the statue and the altar, light the oil lamp on the altar. The idol turns with you on it to end up in another passage.

i am again i am at the place where the beast chases me and for the like of me i cant out run him i have tried going back on both sides and still cant get to the place i need to be before he gets me any help out there for me

If my memory serves me right on this run - it is not the time BUT the number of clicks you do from the moment the you see the dragon until you get to the rocky ledge.

Practice where the best place to do those 6 clicks. Once you get on the first step up the ramo going to the ledge - the dragon will not be able to catch you anymore.
